I'd gladly continue to work that way, but in a very short time, my account in AD will be set to "Smart card only" and I will not have a password. Royal TS/X can be downloaded and used for free without any time limit, license key or registration. If I go ahead, and enter my username and password information, the server responds with, "Smartcard must be used for logon", which it should, and then I may select "Other User" and the logon screen, select my smartcard, and enter my pin, and the logon continues. I "need" to get to the server logon screen, and allow me to enter the PIN of my smartcard, but, everything that I've tried with the credentials setup makes me input a username and password. Reading this answer I learned about Royal TSX and after a few hours Im. Trackmania.io is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nadeo or Ubisoft. The RDP plugin is based on FreeRDP, and seems to support the latest RDP protocol enhancements. It looks like the Trackmania.io API might be down right now. This way, the connection is using Royal Server (and the provided credential) to query the information. Additionally, you can configure a 'Royal Server' object in the properties. Not only does it do exactly what I loved CoRD for - multiple RDP connections in a single window - it has a plugin system that'll connect to VNC, TeamViewer, web pages etc, and more in the future. Besides the required IP or name of the server, you probably also need to specify proper credentials when you configure a management connection in Royal TS/X. I have smartcard redirection enabled, and it works, but, I cannot figure out the proper credentials setup for what I need. In my experienced opinion, CoRD and Jump Desktop are the best RDP clients for Mac. I've found, and am now loving, Royal TSX. I'm testing RoyalTS to determine is it will allow me to smartcard authenticate via RDP. For home/personal use, RoyalTSX can be used free, no nag screens, with just a few limitations (no more than 10 computers defined, etc) but connection functionality is NOT limited. I cant tell that it does anything special the MS client doesnt, plus Cords web site says it hasnt been updated for Mavricks. Screen scaling is much more responsive in Royal. I have a MacOS 10.12 machine with Apple Enterprise Connect. Mac to Windows under Royal is more stable than using Microsoft's MAc version of Remote Desktop Connection.
